Ways To Hide Age Spots On Legs
Slim and dainty legs are very coveted for every girl. But as we grow older, skin gets patchy and uneven. Some women also develop age spots on their legs. While you are too worried about the ageing skin on your face, the rest of the body starts showing signs of ageing. Especially the age spots on legs usually go unnoticed until you want to wear a short dress or get into a swimsuit.
But when you finally notice the freckled look of your ageing skin, it actually upsets you. But don't worry; ageing is a natural process and has to be accepted. And having patchy skin does not mean that you will not wear short dresses ever. All you have to do is learn to work around the age spots on your legs.
Here are some smart ways to hide the age spots on your legs and look youthful.
Wear Full Length Clothes
The most obvious ways to keep your legs out of sight is to wear full length clothes. You can look elegant in long skirts and trousers as well. While this cannot always be the best way out, it serves to help in urgent situations. If you have to go out and have no time to work on those freckles, just slip into a floor length dress.
Wear Stockings
Stockings are one of the ideas to hide age spots on your legs because it gives you the freedom to wear mini dresses and shorts. A pair of black stockings can go with a dress of almost any colour. And if you don't like the artificial look of black stockings, try the nude or skin coloured stockings. They can give the illusion of smooth legs.
Use Concealer
Just like concealer can hide the flaws on your face, it can mask the age spots on your legs too. Choose a lighter shade of concealer than your face for your legs. This is because your legs usually have a lighter complexion that your facial skin. Apply the concealer on the spots and then dust some foundation powder on it. To add some finishing touches, you can actually apply some bronzer on your legs. If your legs look bronzed, the age spots will be naturally less visible.
Get Tanned
The lighter your skin tone, the visibility of your age spots will be more. The best way to reduce the visibility of these ugly age spots on legs is to get tanned. Some amount of sun tanning is good for the skin. So you can apply sun tanning lotion on your body and relax under the sun. This will give you sun-kissed skin and reduce the impact of the age spots. Just ensure that you get a uniform tan and not a patchy one.
