The Best Blush Colours For You
What could be more beautiful than the actual colour of your cheeks when you blush? The purpose of a blusher is not to paint your cheekbones but to make you look like you are blushing. That is the reason this cosmetic is literally called a 'blush'. So you need to keep the colours of your blush as natural as possible.
You cannot be as experimental with the colours of your blush as you are with colours of your eyeshadow. You can blush crimson, you can blush pink but have you ever heard of anybody blushing blue or green? It looks absurd. That is why you need to be very careful while choosing the best blush for yourself. Here are some of blush colours that suit almost all skin tones.
Crimson: This is very warm shade of blush. It is also the best suited blush colour for most skin tones. You could even call it prototypical because you cannot get 'rosy cheeks' without a red blusher. However, try not to use this colour during the day time. It makes your makeup look little loud.
Peach: This is a light shade of blush that is perfect for day wear. Peach suits people who are really fair. This shade will highlight your cheekbones without making it apparent. If you want to play it low key at office or an informal lunch, then peach is your colour.
Plum: The blush colour plum is much lighter than the hair colour. It is the best shade of blush for darker skin tones. It can also be used by fair skinned women to get a deliberately dark cheeked look. All in all, a very versatile shade that can be used in different ways to get different effects.
Pink: Pink maybe a girlie shade but it is by no means a bad shade to give it a try. After all, makeup itself is a girls thing. Pink blush looks very pretty when it is teamed up with pink lipstick. But never use only pink to do your makeup. Use a contrasting eye shadow to prevent yourself from looking like a painted doll.
Dirty Red: This shade is very different from the crimson that we mentioned before. This red looks like the colour of rust. The shade can give you a glamourous look during the day time without looking loud. This red is not as in the face as crimson and not as toned down as peach. It is the perfect culmination of subtlety and glamour.
Clay Yellow Or Golden: This is a recent addition to the ensemble of blush colours. You can use it in the place of gold dust. Gold dust gives you a shimmering haze all over your face. This blusher will focus the shine on your cheekbones.
The best makeup always suits the skin tone perfectly. Which out of these blush shades is your favourite?
