Silky smooth and bouncy hair is a dream of every girl. But, getting that is not easy and we women know the pains that we take in achieving the same.

You fall for the advertisements and repeatedly change hair products, but nothing seems to help you much, right?

Moreover, the dust, pollution and dandruff make your hair greasy and smelly. Even after bathing, your hair remains oily and dull.

So, what do we do under such cases? How to get rid of the excess oil from hair?

Worry no more. Here, you’ll get some tips to remove that excess oil from hair and make your hair soft and smooth.

With these tips, if you apply some home remedies, you can definitely solve your hair problem easily.

1.Don’t Wash Regularly:

The more you wash your hair, the more the natural oil glands of your scalp will produce oil. You may think that washing your hair may wash the oil too, but that is absolutely not true. Avoid regular washing of the hair while bathing.

2.Use A Dry Shampoo:

If you don't want greasy hair after bathing, try to use a dry shampoo. It is a type of powder that soaks the excess oil without disturbing the natural oil production.

If you don't get a dry shampoo, use baking soda in your bathing water to get rid of the greasy hair.

3.Skip The Hair Conditioner:

Do you have the problem of greasy hair? Does it increase after bathing? Then stop using a hair conditioner.

Oily hair means, your scalp is already producing enough oil to keep your hair and scalp moisturised. So, no need to do anything extra.

4.Check Out The Shampoo:

While buying a shampoo, you have to be very cautious. Check out for the label. Is it saying ‘shampoo for oily hair'? Then, go for it. These shampoos can effectively rinse the excess oil from your hair.

5.Rinse Thoroughly:

Don't be in a hurry to wash your hair. Any residue of shampoo or conditioner will not only make your hair greasy, but may also cause hair fall too, as those attract more dirt. So, rinse your hair for almost 30 seconds.

6.Treat Dandruff:

Dandruff is one of the worst reasons that makes your hair and scalp greasy and smelly. It is very necessary to keep it at bay to stop hair fall. Try an anti-dandruff shampoo. You can also try some home remedies like lemon or apple cider vinegar.

7.Don’t Bath In Hot Water:

Researches have shown that washing the hair and scalp in hot water can only aggravate the oil production. Try to use normal water for washing your hair. In winter, you can use lukewarm water, but never hot water.

8.Make A Natural Shampoo:

The shampoos, available in the market, have chemicals that may increase your problem of an oily hair. To stop your hair from becoming oily after the bath, you can use a homemade shampoo.

Take oats as per the length of the hair and boil it in some water. Strain the oats and wash your hair with the remaining water. Repeated use for a few weeks will eliminate your problem.

9.Try Egg Yolks:

Eggs are a wonderful solution for having that bouncy smooth hair. Egg yolk absorbs excess oil and makes your hair and scalp grease-free.

Make a pack with egg yolks and lemon juice, and apply it 15 minutes prior to taking a bath. Shampoo your hair with some herbal shampoo and see the difference.
