Take ½ a cup of amla powder, dilute it in a cup of water. Add a tablespoon of honey and let it sit for an hour. Give your hair a last rinse after shampoo with this solution. Let it sit for 5 minutes and then rinse.

Take a tablespoon of amla powder, mix in 10 drops of tea tree oil, 10 drops of coconut oil and a teaspoon of lime juice. Whisk it into a smooth paste. Cut fresh amla into thin slices. Lay it out under the sun to dry for 2 to 4 days. Heat 1 cup of coconut oil in medium flame. Add the dried amla to the oil. Let it simmer for sometime, until the liquid turns dark brown or black in colour. Let it cool in room temperature. Massage it on to your scalp. After 2 hours, shampoo and condition.

Take a tablespoon of shikakai powder, mix it with an equal quantity of amla powder. Using water, make a thick paste. Divide your hair in small sections and liberally apply the mask to the hair length and scalp. Let it sit for 30 minutes and then rinse. This is one of the quickest ways to use amla for stronger hair.
Paste For Darker Hair
Take a mixing bowl, add 1 tablespoon of henna powder with the required amount of amla juice to make a thin paste. Apply it thoroughly to the length of your hair and scalp. Wrap your hair in a loose bun and cover it with a shower cap. After 40 minutes, shampoo and condition as usual.

Heat 2 tablespoons of almond oil with equal amount of amla juice in a low heat. After 5 minutes of simmering, turn off the heat. Allow the tonic to cool in room temperature. Using a cotton ball, apply it generously to your hair and scalp. After 2 hours of application, rinse it clean with a mild shampoo.

Take a pan and boil 1 cup of amla oil. Add in a handful of crushed hibiscus leaves and a bunch of curry leaves. Let it simmer for 15 minutes. Let the oil hibernate for 48 hours. Strain the oil and use it.

Yet another simple way to use amla for strong hair is this effective tip. Sprinkle a tablespoon of finely powdered amla powder to your regular shampoo for added rejuvenation.
