Home Remedies For A Flaky Scalp
A flaky scalp can be prone to infections and lots of embarrassing moments. Now if you are wondering what is a flaky scalp, then let me explain that. Flakes on the scalp are dried dead skin that accumulate on the scalp and causes itching and dandruff. It is caused due to lack of oil production in the scalp. If the scalp becomes extremely dry, it forms flakes. If left untreated, flakes can spread from the scalp to the face and lead to skin infections.
Flaky scalp is thus very harmful for the hair and skin. Flakes on the scalp looks embarrassing as whenever you scratch your scalp, the dead skin comes into your nails and falls on your shirt. Moreover, flakes on the scalp is one of the major causes of hair loss.
There are many hair products that are available in the market for treating flaky scalp. However, the dandruff based shampoos are filled with harmful chemicals which only increase hair loss. Thus, it is best to opt for some home remedies and get rid of those flakes from the scalp. For example, warm coconut oil with lemon juice is the best hair massage for treating flakes on the scalp and also increasing hair growth. Oil nourishes the scalp and moisturises it. This prevents the formation of dry and itchy scalp.
Here are the best home remedies that can treat flaky scalp.
