Lemon Juice For Healthy And Strong Hair

Hair fall is a major problem for everyone. Among the various natural treatments for hair, lemon juice for hair is a natural treatment to prevent hair loss and boost growth. Lemon juice stimulates hair growth as it is rich in vitamin A and B, phosphorus and antioxidants. Applying lemon juice on hair makes it healthy, shiny and strong.

One of the most easy and commonly used ways of applying lemon juice on hair is by adding few droplets in lukewarm hair oil and massaging the scalp. This is a natural treatment for hair loss and dandruff. Even direct appliance is effective in strengthening hair roots and eradicate dandruff. The results can be seen in a month.

Here are few more ways of using lemon juice on hair:

1.Mix 1 egg, 5 tablespoons of henna in 1 cup of warm water. Add half freshly squeezed lemon juice and apply this mixture on the scalp. Keep it for 2 hours till the scalp dries and then wash it properly with a little shampoo. This is a homemade natural remedy for hair growth.
2.Mix lemon juice and coconut water in equal amounts and apply it on the scalp. Keep it for 30 minutes and rinse is with shampoo. This is a natural treatment of hair loss. It also makes the hair look shiny and thick.
3. Lemon juice can also lighten hair. Apply some lemon juice on the hair with little moisturizer before exposing your hair in sun. it is a natural method to undye the hair color.
4.Lemon hair spray can be applied on any hair type. Cut lemon in slices and place it on a pan with water. Simmer it for 15 minutes till half of the water is evaporated. After this, sprain the liquid and add essential oil. You can store it in a spray bottle and use it for a week.
5.Lemon can be used to make natural shampoo for a healthy growth. Soak few small pieces of soap in warm water till it melts. Mix olive oil and few drops of lemon together and use it as a shampoo. To keep the shampoo for a long period like a week, store it in a refrigerator.

Excessive use of lemon can lead to hair problems as it has citric acid which burn the hair. So be careful. If it doesn't suit the hair type then don't apply.
