Probably, due to environmental conditions, it may lead to dry and damaged skin around the eyes. Extremely cold or harsh weather can also lead to dryness around the eyes.
Using dirty makeup sponges and brushes can be another reason for dry skin around the eyes. Certain dermatological conditions and sunburn may also lead to dry skin around the eye region.

Lavender Oil
Lavender oil is one among the effective remedies that can help to treat the dry skin around the eyes. Lavender oil helps to de-stress the muscles and rejuvenate the skin around the eye. Also, it helps to protect your skin from any oxidative stress and damage. Take some lavender oil, mix 2 drops of coconut oil to it. Mix both the oils together, heat it for some time and massage for some time.
Aloe Vera Gel
Aloe vera gel is an easy yet effective home remedy that helps to rejuvenate the dry skin under the eye. Aloe vera gel hydrates the skin and due to a high amount of vitamins and minerals in it, it helps to keep your skin hydrated for a long period of time. Application of aloe vera gel not only helps to keep your skin cool and hydrated, but also gives you a healthy and glowing skin. Extract some aloe vera gel from the aloe vera leaf and apply this on your under-eye area. Massage for 10 minutes and then wash off with cold water.
Tea Bags
Using tea bags is another remedy that can help to treat the dry skin under the eyes. Due to a high amount of antioxidants and tannins present, a tea bag helps to prevent over dryness and wrinkles from appearing under the eye. Take a tea bag and freeze it for some time. Now keep this on your under-eye area and relax for some time.
Petroleum Jelly
Petroleum jelly not only helps to keep your skin clean but also keeps it moisturised for a long period of time. Applying petroleum jelly helps to keep your skin hydrated, thus preventing over dryness on the skin. However, be careful while applying petroleum jelly around the eye and if it gets into your eye accidently, don't worry, just wash it off with cold water.
Rose Water
Rose water also helps to keep your skin hydrated and supple for a long period of time. Using rose water helps to keep your skin wrinkle free and also prevents over dryness. Take some rose water and soak a cotton ball in it. Now, place this cotton pad on your under-eye area and wait for 10 minutes. Wash off with cold water. Rose water works as a fantastic toner that helps to prevent dryness under the eyes.
Milk Powder
Take a few spoons of milk powder, add a few spoons of honey and lemon juice to it. Mix all the ingredients together and apply this on the under-eye area. Wait for some time and wash off with lukewarm water. Using milk powder is another remedy that can help to provide hydration on the under-eye area, thus preventing dry skin on the under-eye area.
Coconut Oil
Due to a high amount of fatty acids present in coconut oil, it can help to keep your under-eye area moisturised and hydrated. Also, due to anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties found in coconut oil, it rejuvenates your under-eye area. Apply some lukewarm coconut oil on your under-eye skin. Coconut oil helps to lift your face and also makes your skin firm when used regularly.
