Sloughing off the dead skin cells from our body is the most important step in maintaining a beauty routine. However, we often forget to exfoliate few of the body parts. Read here to know which are the body parts that we often forget to exfoliate.

Getting rid of dead skin cells can help you to have a smooth and radiant skin. If dead skin cells pertain for a long period of time, it may lead to clogging of pores, further resulting in acne.

However, exfoliating or scrubbing your body is one of the important tasks that helps to get rid of the dead skin cells from the body easily.

Well, if you always desired for a flawless body and face, here we mention to you the body parts that we need to exfoliate, which we often tend to miss out on. Remember to exfoliate them the next time!

1. Elbows

For most of the people, elbows are much darker than the rest of the skin, which is a clear proof that they are not exfoliating these parts. You should always remember to exfoliate your elbows, as they are frequently exposed to the environmental toxins.

Elbows are generally dark which is due to accumulation of dead skin cells that can be treated by exfoliating the skin. You should use a loofah or exfoliating scrub to get rid of the dead skin cells. Meanwhile, rubbing some lemon juice on the dark elbows can help to give you a fairer tone of skin on elbows.

The neck is another common area that is generally dark compared to your face and body. The neck is exposed to environmental pollutants, which results in accumulation of dead skin cells, thus resulting in dark skin.

In order to get rid of the dark skin cells on the neck, you should exfoliate your skin with the help of a loofah or exfoliating scrub. To remove the dirt, move your hand from bottom to top and vice versa.

Each one of us dreams of having a flawless-looking back, but skipping exfoliating the part is where we lack to achieve our goal. Back is generally a shade darker than the rest of the skin, primarily due to an accumulation of dead skin cells.

In order to get rid of this, exfoliate your back with the help of a loofah from top to bottom. Scrubbing or exfoliating your back can help to get rid of the dirt and bacteria accumulated on the back. Do this daily to get a flawless back.

Another common area which every one of us forgets to exfoliate is ears. Cleaning the inner as well as outer part of the ear is extremely important, as it helps to remove dirt and prevent infections.

In order to clean the ears, tilt the head to the right, splash some water and clean it. You can exfoliate and scrub your ears from the back, so that it looks flawless. Don't forget to clean the earlobes as well.

How many of you actually clean your heel's everytime you take a bath? Well, none of us! We don't even clean them with water and hence exfoliation finds no space here. Well, just like your face and body, exfoliating your heel is really very important.

Exfoliating your heels can help to prevent cracked heels and give you a flawless and soft skin. While bathing, soak your feet in water for a few minutes and then scrub the heels using an exfoliating cream. This is the best way to get rid of the dry and cracked heels.

Instead of using deodorant to feel fresh, you should exfoliate your armpit skin thoroughly. Exfoliating your armpits not only helps to prevent the dead skin cell buildup but also prevents bacterial actions to take place. Always choose a skin-brightening scrub, so that it brightens and keeps your armpits healthy.

After scrubbing your face, do you actually remember to scrub your lips? Lips are one important part of our body that do not get all the love and pampering that they require. Scrubbing lips can help get rid of the dead skin cells and also prevent dry and chapped lips.

In order to exfoliate your skin on the lips, you can mix some olive oil and sugar and scrub your lips well. Prevent using exfoliators with chemicals, as lips are very delicate and soft parts. Always opt for a homemade or sugar-based scrub to exfoliate the lips.
