DIY Herbal Vaginal Wash To Keep Your Girl Part Clean
From herbal soaps, moisture-absorbing talc, hand sanitiser to desensitizing wash, its amazing the amount of time and money we spend to keep our skin 100% germ free.
However, when it comes to the cave down there, that is your ever-smelling vagina, most often then not, we are lost.
Your vagina has both good bacteria and bad bacteria. Good bacteria helps maintain the required pH balance in that area that is between 3.5 and 4.5, a safe heaven.

Bad bacteria, on the other hand, tips the scale, leading to odour, irritation and even bacterial vaginosis.
If recent studies is anything to go by, few things that disrupt the balance are periods, since blood has a pH level of 7.4, and sex, since semen has a pH balance of 7 to 8. The level is quite high to maintain the required acidity level.
Now, normally your vagina does not need any wash, since it naturally maintains the balance. It is like a self-cleaning machine. It is when there is too much vaginal secretion or infection that you will need a wash.
Medicated vaginal washes, even though touted to be safe and pH balanced, may contain ingredients that can trigger side effects. So, why take that risk? When natural ingredients can do the job just as well, minus the chemicals, why not go for this, right?
So, here is a DIY herbal Vaginal wash to keep your girly part neat and clean!
The prime ingredients in this wash are witch hazel and rose water. Witch hazel is a major carrier of tannins and antioxidants, which when applied to the skin help reduce swelling, repair broken skin and fight infection-causing bacteria.
Rose water, on the other hand, is a natural moisturiser that unclogs the pores, keeps the natural oil in the skin intact and soothes any inflammation.
