It is said that acne develops on the skin due to being unhygienic, excess of oil on the face and at times it could also be due to dry skin.

Step 1 - Before you do your eyebrows it is important to rinse your face with clean running water, preferably hot water. Rinse your face well and try as much as possible to remove the excess oil lurking on your face.

Step 2 - Now using a clean cotton cloth, pat your face dry. Try not to rub your face with the cloth as it can injure your skin and this cause it to tear.

Step 3 - Now apply a homemade toner to your face. Witch hazel is the best toner you can use on your face especially if have acne prone skin. Dab the cotton with witch hazel over the eyebrows and allow it to dry. You can also try chamomile tea and aloe vera for toners.

Step 4 - Now allow the beautician to do your eyebrows.

Step 5 - Re-apply the toner on your eyebrows and rub a piece of ice over the brow. This will help to calm your pores and not cause an infection.

Step 6 - If you want to rinse your face, it is best to use only rose water. This natural water will help to heal eyebrow cuts and prevent pimples too.

An important thing to keep in mind to prevent pimples post threading - you should not touch the threaded part for at least 6 hours. Don't use any cosmetics on the area too. You should also avoid exfoliating the area for at least 12 hours.
