Here are some simple ways to prevent toenail fungus naturally at home.

Cut Them: Keeping long toenails is one of the major causes of fungal infections. Cut the nails and keep them clean. This will prevent the build up of bacteria and also keep the nails clean and dirt free.
Keep The Nails Dry: Wet nails are home to bacteria and fungus. You must dry your feet thoroughly after washing it. After bathing, swimming or doing any activity that wets the nails, wipe off the feet and dry them.
KNOW CAUSES AND CURE FOR YELLOWING NAILS
Wear Slippers: To prevent toenail fungus, wear open slippers as it allows air to pass through and prevents the formation of bacteria. So, go barefoot as much as possible. This prevents the formation and accumulation of sweat in between the toenails.
Hygiene: To prevent toenail fungus, you must ensure proper nail hygiene. For example, you should not wear the same socks for more than one day. The sweat and bacteria can lead to fungal infections. Also, prefer bleaching the socks (white socks basically). It kills bacteria and germs that do not go away after washing the fabric. Other coloured socks must be washed with disinfectant.
Vinegar: Soak the feet in vinegar and water solution and clean them. This prevents the toenail fungus as they cannot live in the acidic environment and die instantly.
Weekly Pedicure: You must get a pedicure once every week. You do not need to visit a spa or parlour. Soak your feet in salt and warm water solution and clean the toenails. Scrub and remove dead cuticle and dirt from the nails and follow up with a moisturiser. This is one of the best ways to prevent toenail fungus naturally.
