A good skin sans intrusions in the form of imperfections is what all women want, rather crave. Apart from acnes, pimples facial hair in a woman is one among the prime concerns bothering the facial appearance. It is definitely an obstruction in defining a clear and flawless skin.

Excess of facial hair in women called Hirsutism is the outcome of abnormal hormonal variation. A cause for embarrassment in women, there are however numerous ways for removing them. Epilation is the process of removing the hair from below the skin.

Waxing, sugaring, lasers, threading, electrolysis, plucking and tweezing are some of the methods employed for hair removal.

Plucking involves a lot of pain as individual hair is pulled from the root with the help of tweezers. Since the hair is plucked from the root it takes a longer time to grow. How ever it is time consuming but plucking with epilator can do the job faster. It is not recommended for people who cannot withstand pain.

Chemical depilatories are inexpensive but however the hair growth is back to its form within a short time. They contain chemicals that are too strong for the skin that can result in skin irritations. Since they only remove the visible hair on the face the process is only short lived. Hence the skin is prone to getting exposed to more of those harmful chemicals.

The base of the hair follicles is damaged by Electrolysis and laser treatment that arrest further hair growth. But however they are long-term treatments and are expensive. Electrolysis curbs hair growth. Even in some cases of hair growth, the hair is weak and light in colour.. Electrolysis is employed for those whom laser treatment is not applicable with regards to their dark, light skin or grey hair.

Waxing is a very effective and inexpensive method widely preferred in the removal of facial hair. It helps in pulling out the hair from its root and involves a longer time for the hair to grow back.

Epilight hair removal involves the exposition of the hairy area to an intense pulse light .It is more gentle than waxing and involves fewer probabilities of pigmentation and scarring on the skin when compared to laser and electrolysis. It is also less painful comparatively. Further it is ideal for all types of skin.

Bleaching is involved after hair removal for those areas if they still look dark. It helps in lightening the hair colour making it look less visible on the skin. But however it has to be professionally done in a salon.

Facial hair is no more a problem, as there are ample ways to treat them for a smooth and flawless skin.
