Reduce Acne With Home Remedies

Acne is described as psychic trauma, humiliation, frustration, embarrassment and dirty. Most of them who have a wonderful physique, with attractive smile, walk with their head held low due to inferiority.

It is caused when the hair follicles in our skin get blocked. Hair follicles produce oil that is normally beneficial as it helps the skin from drying and limits skin infections. But when sebum cant drain, it builds up and becomes a culture medium for bacteria. The other causes may be indigestion and food allergies.

Most of the products in the market may be helpful, but may even cause side effects. Here are some herbal tips and home remedies that can reduce acne, but it is advisable to show it to a skin specialist if it is worse.

Do's to reduce acne:

Diet: Eat a diet high in fiber, like whole grains, fresh vegetables and fruits to provide nutrients to your skin Experts believe that dietary changes are very successful with most of the people. Drink six to eight glasses of water everyday as it helps your body system to work properly

Raw milk: Wash your face with raw milk before you go to sleep. This is termed as effective and easy method to get rid of acne.

Steam: take a steam from boiled water with your head covered with towel, it help in opening the pores. Do it twice a week. Remember to rinse your face with cold water after that. Egg yolk: apply egg yolk with a cotton ball and leave it for 15 mins. Paste of oatmeal and honey is also good as oatmeal soaks up excess oil ad honey soothens the skin. Bitter Gourd: peels of bitter gourd and cucumber remove pimples and reduce acne and black heads. Rub it gently on your face once a day for nearly 3-5 days.

Oatmeal mask: wear a mask of cooked and cooled oatmeal mask for 15 minutes.

Aloe Vera: Take 30- 40 ml of Aloe Vera juice daily to prevent acne and skin pigmentation. But do not extract juice from raw pulp as raw pulp when consumed without processing can contain some harmful ingredients that can cause stomach upset. It is better to take the juice from the chemist in pre- packaged form.

Green tea: Drink green tea without milk boiled in hot water twice a day, it prevents skin from UV rays and free radical chemicals in the atmosphere.
